Visitors in the EU
Until December 30, 2024, the Dutch regulator De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) will supervise crypto asset firms. As of December 30, the European framework MiCAR will go into effect, which lays down rules for risk warnings and financial promotions for retail clients of crypto asset service providers.
Notice to users in the EU
Until December 30, there are no formal financial promotion rules in the EU. However, it is (Dutch) industry practice to highlight the following risk message:
“Crypto services are provided by Zero Hash Europe who is registered with the De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. as a crypto service provider. Cryptocurrency trading has risks. You may lose all or part of your investment.”
International compliance has submitted the above risk warning to DNB in their crypto asset service provider-application in September 2023.
